About this website

DOMA provides editorial content, a professional Directory, and an introduction service through meetdoma.com. These terms describe the website and its initial launch offering. Questions may be sent to lawrence@meetdoma.com.

The DOMA Directory

The Directory helps visitors discover independent designers, trades, and material specialists. A profile or introduction does not guarantee a practice’s availability, suitability for a particular project, credentials, pricing, or results. Before engaging a practice, discuss your needs and independently confirm relevant qualifications, insurance, references, scope, fees, and contract terms.

An inquiry sent through DOMA is a request for an introduction, not a confirmed appointment, booking, or contract for professional services. Any project engagement is agreed directly with the practice. DOMA does not collect project fees through the inquiry form.

Membership applications

Applications are reviewed by DOMA. Submitting a form does not guarantee acceptance, create a paid membership, authorize a recurring charge, or automatically publish a Directory profile. The advertised membership fee is $89 per month if accepted. Before a paid membership begins, the applicant will receive the applicable membership, billing, renewal, and cancellation terms and must choose whether to accept them. Application submission alone does not enroll or charge you.

Applicants must provide accurate information and submit only text, images, links, and other material they own or are authorized to share. Obtain any permissions needed from photographers, clients, and other rights holders. The permissions requested on the application govern the use of submitted materials. Contact DOMA to request a correction to your information.

Journal and concept imagery

The Journal offers general design and lifestyle information. It is not a substitute for project-specific advice from a qualified professional. Directory practices are responsible for their own services. Images identified as AI concepts are illustrative; they are not photographs of completed member projects or representations of final products for sale.

The Edits and Experiences

The DOMA Edits and Experiences are in development. Coming-soon descriptions do not constitute an offer to sell, a reservation, or a guarantee of particular contents, dates, prices, events, or availability. DOMA is not accepting orders or preorders for the Edits at this stage. Final product information and the applicable purchase terms will be presented before ordering opens.

Respectful use and intellectual property

Please use the website and inquiry forms for legitimate purposes. Do not submit unlawful, misleading, infringing, or unsolicited promotional material, impersonate another person, or attempt to interfere with the website. Website content, photographs, and other materials remain the property of DOMA or their respective rights holders. Viewing the website does not grant permission to reproduce or commercially use those materials.

Privacy and external websites

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Project inquiries and membership applications do not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. External websites and independent practices have their own terms and privacy practices.

Updates and contact

DOMA may update website content and these terms as its offering develops. The date above identifies the latest version. Changes to a future paid service will be addressed in the applicable service terms. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit rights that cannot be limited under applicable law. Shopify services and your choices

DOMA is hosted by Shopify. When you visit our website, information is shared with Shopify and service providers, which may operate outside your country. Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled; Shopify can use information about your interactions with DOMA, other merchants, and Shopify to provide and improve services, including personalization and advertising. Read Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy. Where applicable, use our data-sharing opt-out page to request an opt-out of sharing or targeted advertising. You can also manage requests through Shopify’s privacy portal or contact DOMA.
