Our starting point for a room that feels good before the first guest arrives.

Music does not have to be the event to shape the evening. Choose the first set before anyone arrives, then let it give the room a little momentum.

On repeat: SG Lewis for Keinemusik Radio

This is the set we are saving for the warm-up: the table is almost ready, something cold is in the glasses, and nobody needs to decide what happens next. It is a DOMA mood pairing, not an official DOMA playlist or collaboration.

Start before the doorbell

Play the opening while you finish setting the room. Listen from the chairs where guests will sit. Adjust the volume there, rather than beside the speaker. If a normal conversation needs effort, bring it down.

Keep one person on music

A shared queue can be fun later; at the beginning, one uninterrupted set keeps the evening from becoming a series of negotiations. Disable notification sounds on the connected device and have a charging cable nearby.

Pair it with
